DOUGLAS COUNTY PARTNERS

DC Partners

Jessica Summers     720-733-1960

Douglas County Partners matches volunteer mentors with youth ages 8-17.  Mentoring instills positive changes and responsible choices in the youth. Mentors listen, offer advice, and share activities with the young person. Together they enjoy activities such as hiking, fishing, reading, music, community events, and often spending time on homework.  Partnerships commit to spending about 3 hours a week together for one year.  You must be 18 to volunteer.  Training provided.

We are a year-around, continuing volunteer agency

Serving midday meals Tuesday and Thursday to the elderly at the Castle Rock Senior Center, 2323 N. Woodlands Blvd.

Would YOU like to help? The food is already cooked. We need helpers to serve the meal, and clean up afterward.

This is a great opportunity to meet people - young AND old - and do some good one-on-one.  We also need drivers to deliver food to the homebound. How about YOU?  Volunteer drivers use their own vehicles. We pay for gas and mileage.
