Douglas County Educational Foundation

Community Support for Learning Excellence

801 South Perry Street Suite 100, Castle Rock
Since 1990, the Douglas County Educational Foundation (DCEF) has been developing resources to enrich educational programs within Douglas County schools for the fulfillment of lifelong learning experiences for students, citizens and the Douglas County community. Our organization is comprised of volunteers whose commitment of time and resources has contributed $2 million to educational programs and projects!
The Foundation is looking for help with special fundraising events such as our Golf Tournament, the Apple Awards Dinner, Greg & Steve Children's Concerts and more! Clerical help with data entry, mailings and the newsletter is also needed. Students are welcome to volunteer for the Foundation.
Visit the DC School District website for specific opportunities.

Douglas/Elbert Task Force
We need more volunteers now than we have since our we were founded in 1984!
The Task Force assisted more than 2,000 people in 1997. In 2005, we assisted more than 11,000 Douglas County people in need, a 550 percent increase in less than 10 years. Volunteering is your opportunity to make a difference. The Task Force could not operate without volunteers. Many more are needed to keep up with the ever-increasing need to assist our community.
We promise you a challenging and rewarding experience.
Call us at 303-688-1114 or email Kathy for more information and a volunteer application.
